Little Women

Emma Reeves adaptation premiered at London’s West End Duchess Theatre in September 2004 and unlike all previous adaptations it includes the second novel Good Wives and has the famous March sisters in their 20’s looking back on their lives.

With her husband away in the American Civil War, Mrs March, Marmee, is left alone to bring up their four girls; romantic Meg, shy Beth, wilful Amy and of course, fiery and independent Jo. Through the intertwining lives of the sisters we see the familiar frustrations, contradictions and duties that constitute family life and love. We share in the hardships and heartbreak, humour and humility of these passionate and unique young women.

The romantic, tragic and comic elements are flawlessly captured, successfully creating an emotional journey that tugs at the heartstrings.

CBee16 Jamboree

A camping event organised by GirlGuiding New Zealand encapsulating adventure, fun and friendship opportunities over one action packed week! With over 2,000 participants expected to attend from all over New Zealand and overseas, CBee16 is a fantastic opportunity for girls to learn new life skills as they camp out and participate in adventurous challenges.

Attendees at CBee16 will undergo a wide variety of group tasks that will challenge, develop their leadership and teamwork abilities and encourage them to try new things. This experience is often the highlight of a girl’s time in Guiding with skills, friendships and memories that stay with them for a lifetime.
